Video – North Atlantic Skies

We love visualizations. Every day, between two and three thousand aircraft fly across the North Atlantic between Canada, the United States and Europe. Airspace across the North Atlantic is divided into six Oceanic Control Areas (or OCAs). These OCAs are controlled by Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) working at different locations in different Countries.

Cafe 1730 Beans and Booze

Koregaon Park is known for many things and one of them is great cafes and restaurants. Nestled in a quiet corner of a very green and scenic Lane 6 is this Cafe 1730. Now this place has been around for a few years now and has seen itself go through some transformations. Initially I would go here for a quick coffee or some work, relaxing and….

BluO Phoenix Market City

Last weekend Pune Foodiez gang was invited by BluO for a review. Now this is one place which has always impressed me.. but only in terms of their bowling lanes and the sports bar ambiance. Arabian Nights at Four Points by Sheraton

These hotels have the resources to bring speciality Chef’s on board or even do extensive research and planning for such festivals. Sadly, FPBS is not one of them. And unfortunately the same can be said about most properties in Pune… they need to get the execution dead right or just steer clear of it.

Uncles Kitchen – Chinese Street Food Crawl

Went to Uncle’s Kitchen recently as part of our street food crawl week.. my friend Tes and I discussed about the various places we could try but then I settled on Uncle’s Kitchen as it’s been one of my old haunts since college days. Back then they did purely Indian Chinese but now slowly they have adapted the slightly fancy Pan-Asian cuisine…

Asian Express – Kalyani Nagar Pune

Pune’s food scene is seeing a good influx of some new and bold QSR concepts thanks to the malls and multiplexes. Although the choice has been limited to traditional fusion and then either the American fast-food chains, there is not much to choose from between these. Coming from US, I’ve loved to have the Asian food in a box and have always missed it here… food which is pre-mixed and just ready to eat…
